When we arrived - this Northeast Minneapolis lot had just a single tree.

Over two years we created this landscape from scratch. We grew native perennials from seed, replaced lawn with wildflowers and low-maintenance fescue grass, and built planters and walls out of recycled steel panels from a downtown demolition project.

It’s kind of messy, but we like it that way.
